Regarding wether this will run next year or not:

This year had been crazy, and I've run into more irl issues than I thought I would. I'm not entirely sure if I would like to do this again, though given time and a different time of the year, I probably could.

If, and that's a massive if: If I run it next year, the following changes will occur.

-No freeforms
The focus is narrow enough.

-Vauger reaveal-by dates
My energy, focus and workload fluctuates during the day, and getting things done at a certain time is not always going to happen. Better to have a 'definitely post by X, grace period of a few hours, mod will close sign-up/nomination during these hours on X date' would make it a lot more pain-free for this mod.

-More advertising
Now that I know that I can do, I feel more confident in spreading the word/plastering the word all over vertical spaces.

Preliminary guidelines are below.

Guidelines will be set in stone on the 20th of April, GMT.

This is an exchange focused on fanfiction centering one-sided attraction.

Each fanfiction must contain at least 1000 words. They must centre around one character’s unrequited(Or believed to be so) affection for another character.

These characters will be distinguished by ‘Character B’ for the character on the receiving end of affections, and ’Character A’ for the one in love.

Nominations will be done by tags ’Character A wants Character B

Nominations will be from May 1 to May 15.
Sign-ups will be open from May 16 to June 1st. Assignments should be out by June 5, if not earlier. Assignment deadline will be August 17.

Each prospective attendant may submit up to six fandoms with five relationships each. Freeform tags will be used to ease matching. If we end up with a lot of pinch hits as a result, matching on tags may be discarded. In that case, we will still allow the use of tags as general guidelines.

Each attendant can request 3-10 fandoms, but must offer at least four fandoms, with at least one pairing in each. They may also offer 1-6 freeform tags.
